Sorcia is an AI-powered knowledge base platform that integrates with Slack and other workplace tools to help teams find answers to questions by searching connected documents and data sources.

Data Ownership: You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership of any content you upload or create using Sorcia.

Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security. We are not liable for data breaches, unauthorized access, data loss, or corruption beyond the maximum extent permitted by law.

Your Content: You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of content you upload. You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload content and grant us permission to process it. We do not pre-screen content and are not responsible for user-uploaded materials.

6. Intellectual Property

Sorcia and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sorcia and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Sorcia integrates with third-party services (Slack, Google Drive, Confluence, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.

8. AI-Generated Content and Disclaimers

IMPORTANT: Sorcia uses artificial intelligence to generate answers to your questions. You acknowledge and agree that:

No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or outdated information
Not Professional Advice: Responses are NOT medical, legal, financial, tax, investment, or professional advice of any kind
Verify Information: You MUST independently verify any important information before making decisions or taking action
No Reliance: We are NOT liable for any decisions, actions, losses, or damages resulting from your use of or reliance on AI-generated content
No Warranties: AI responses are provided "AS IS" with NO WARRANTIES of any kind
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you use and act upon information provided by Sorcia
Business Decisions: We are not responsible for any business, employment, strategic, or operational decisions made based on AI responses
Third-Party Content: AI responses may be based on user-uploaded documents which we do not verify or endorse

By using Sorcia, you explicitly accept these limitations and agree not to hold us liable for the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

9. Fees and Payment

Certain features of Sorcia may require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan:

You agree to pay all applicable fees
Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
You authorize us to charge your payment method
Refunds are provided at our discretion
We may change pricing with 30 days notice

10. Cancellation and Termination

By You: You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@sorcia.ai. Upon cancellation, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or for any reason with 30 days notice.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service "As Is": The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sorcia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sorcia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Content you upload or create using Sorcia

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of Sorcia after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
